Building Muscle At Holly Tree

We are so excited here at Holly Tree to have
a fabulous new Jesus And Me teacher!
her name is Mrs. Sandra and she comes
to us from our sister center,

Mrs. Sandra will be exploring, with our new friend
Peanut the Puppy (as you see below), the ways we
can learn to help others, be thankful, and work together.
She will also focus on and emphasize our weekly and
monthly Bible themes in fun and meaningful ways!

We are thankful for Mrs. Sandra and Peanut!

We are also thankful for fabulous and creative teachers
who provide wonderful opportunities for
Holly Tree children to learn and grow!

The creative activities and processes you
see at work below promote development in
a variety of areas; one of the most important
being muscle building! Yes, that's right, these kinds of
activities build both "mental muscle", but just as importantly,
they develop physical muscles--in fingers, hands, and arms!

This type of muscle development is called
fine motor development and its importance cannot
be underestimated. When children develop fine motor skills
they develop the ability to do things that require
precise motions and that are so necessary to life.
One good example of this is writing!
For a comprehensive look at fine motor development,
as well as gross motor development,

Physical Development in young children.

We love to learn in positive way here at Holly Tree,
and we're never short on love! Have a blessed and beautiful day!
